yay i really liked this one! a highlight was definitely the art, the painterly anime style is really beautiful. i also liked the surreal style of the background, it made the dream sequences seem really ethereal - colourful and innocent but also wrong at the same time.
personally i think the imagery used was very reflective of how the player character views daisy and what happened to her - it’s a distortion of something that was once innocent & it worked to help the game explore its themes
Cool style. That said, I can’t say I really connected with the story. There are many ways to approach depression and suic*de themes in a more subtle and engaging way (for lack of a better word). I feel this game is a bit too direct and leans heavily on the predictable imagery such as the rope, or the dreamish world as a false paradise, or even the 'gray' depressing room. It might seem unique because not many stories attempt to tackle this subject, but the few that do often rely on the same metaphors and symbolism, which ends up feeling somewhat cliché. I don’t mean that to sound overly harsh—the author’s passion is very clear—I just think the overall direction isn’t quite there yet. My review on the game jam will still be very positive as this is clearly one of the best games I've played on the competition so far.
Wow! The game was incredibly atmospheric, and the heart-pounding moments resonated powerfully. Please finish the final images and add a Russian translation. I really want to play this game again, but in my native language. I hope you can figure out how to develop it further or make more games like it. Thank you for such creativity, it is amazing!! Please rate our game, I hope you like it too.^^

well done!
The art is really beautiful! The narrative approach reminded me a bit of Slay the Princess
